Everyone enjoyed a potluck dinner and desserts as the Veterans Club conducted its quarterly business meeting, reporting on financials and activities in 2026. 

President Rosemarie Bower presented checks to the University of North Georgia, the PTSD Foundation, and to American Legion Post 7.

Guest speaker, Loretta Aiken, served during the Vietnam era until her retirement a few years ago. She provided a fascinating history of nurses from 1776 through today.
